The cranberry production peak will arrive in the week 44 / 45

The first third of the Argentine harvest was characterized by an adequate and favorable compliance with the cold hours in the different productive zones.

This, added to the habitual evolution of temperatures in each productive region, determined a staggered and adequate distribution by productive zone. At the same time, the alternation with fresh nights favored a normal physiological evolution of the reproductive face characterizing the flavor of the main varieties.

Led by Tucumán in the NOA, Bella Vista in the NEA, Concordia in the E and Buenos Aires the latest, this third of the harvest was appropriately staggered. Even the participation of increasing volumes of extra-early varieties such as Snowchaser in Concordia did not change this distribution.

Until the 41 week, the volume exported by Argentina was 5.500 tons. Although the total up to that date exceeded the estimate, it is forecast that during the 42 week the volume will grow less than expected due to the reduction of harvest days at the beginning.

Therefore, and according to the climatic perspectives, it is estimated that the peak of Argentine production will be produced from the 44 / 45 week, leading, for the moment, to a final volume similar to that projected.
